Another Wonderful Year~Rubel Photography Casual Lifestyle Photography

Wedding anniversaries come once a year, but you can celebrate your marriage every day.

Sharing in laughter, helping in each other’s burdens.

Being patient.

Making time for each other.

Speaking kind and encouraging words…often.

Talking to each other throughout the day.

and….

getting your picture made…yeah!!!!!!! :o )

You can get professional pictures made once a year, but snapshots of each other throughout the year is very nice.

They are celebrating their 3rd year.

It’s a beautiful thing.

They’ve added a few family members.

I think it’s a great idea to get your picture made by your front door. It will be very meaningful later, if you move, or even if you’re still there.

We moved inside for a few shots.

Gotta have some fun shots too.

nice

Love this shot.

We went over to The Mill at Lebanon, TN.

:)

I love her smile.

love this one

and this one

and this one

I like this one too

There were a lot of neat places around the Mill to do pictures. We didn’t even get to them all.

This is a classic pose for 2 people. Usually, if you are in the studio, they will raise one of the stools a little higher to achieve this. We used a rock. :)

love it

…and we end the photo shoot with one last kiss.

It was a chilly day, but you both were fantastic…as always!

Seems like the years as going by faster.

Happy Anniversary and multiplied blessings to you both in the year to come.

Happy Little Family~Rubel Photography~Casual Lifestyle Photography

I’m blessed to know a lot of happy families.

This one is happy and super cute…all of them.

Drat winter, but what do you do when the green is gone and the grass is brown.

You make the best with what you have.

We worked this shoot out by taking their family pictures at a weekend conference, at the wonderful Sheraton Music City Hotel, in Nashville, TN.

Their courtyard is quite beautiful and it gave us a lot of options.

The pansy’s were still in bloom, love those sweet flowers, so we had a splash of color here and there.

I’m pleased.

It was a little chilly, but everyone did so great.

Beautiful smiles on everyone.

Aren’t they adorable?!?

Even “little miss” gave us a sweet smile.

Isn’t she precious?

“little miss” did so good during our session, but at this point she had just had enough, still so cute :)

I’m so glad it worked out the you all were coming to town, and we could fit this in.

I’m encouraged by your faith, and your love for each other.

You have a wonderful start and a bright future.

Thanks for a great time!!

Spectacular at 17~Rubel Photography~Casual Lifestyle Photography

Sweet at 16

Spectacular at 17

Better slow it down while you’re heading to 18, or I won’t be able to stand it. :)

My days are so full of life.

Lovely life.

I really am blessed.

I always wanted girls. (sorry boys)

I have 2 female cousins, younger than me.

Anna and April.

I fell in love with them at first sight and started daydreaming of my hopes of having 2 sweet little girls like them, one day.

Maybe the Lord took notice of my tender dreams.

Maybe He put the desire there to begin with.

I’m just thankful He listened.

Here we are rounding the corner from 2011, to 2012.

I’m kinda sad, she’s really happy.

She turned 17 a few weeks ago.

In Tennessee, we still have really pretty days in December.
We waited for one of them and went downtown to the Bicentennial Mall, near the Farmer’s Market.

Pretty place.

My mom, her Grandma, came with us.
Sweet memories.

cool

Happy girl!

love this one

snif

where are my tissues…snif

We had a few issues with the wind from time to time, so it was “fun” grabbing photos between gusts.

I still see that sweet baby face in that teenager smile.

You know I had to take a “jumping” shot.

fun~~~

so cool. love this one too

like

Magnolias and Evergreens are your friends.
These tress were in a cluster, so I placed her a little behind, where the sun was sun-spotting through…beautiful

She’s still standing in front of the Magnolias, we just moved a little, so the sun was shinning through the leaves. so pretty.

I love this one.

Well, as her mother, I love a lot of them.

As the photographer, I love a lot of them. :)

How do I deal with my girls growing up?

I enjoy every day.

I try to spend as much time as I can with them, so hopefully, I’ll have very little regrets…I said hopefully.

I love them, I teach them, I discipline them, I listen to them, I watch them.

I try to see and bring out the best in them.

I pray for them all the time.

I read the Word to them and let them read it to me.

I don’t sweat the small stuff, most things will work themselves out as they go through their different seasons.

I laugh more than I cry. seriously.

I exercise and try to eat healthy, so I can keep up with them. I can’t fit into their clothes, I’m bigger boned…really. I am.

One more really important thing.

I love their father.

and my super-duper secret weapon…

chocolate.

I love you Hallie as deep as the oceans, and as wide and vast as the deserts.

My love is eternal.

I’m just grateful that He choose us to be mother and daughter.

I’m a better person because of you!

smooch!
