He formed a plan, made all the arrangements, involved a few people….and it worked. He surprised his wife with the gift she wanted for their anniversary. So, how was that a surprise? She knew what she was going to get. Ah,… the timing was the necessary tool that made this gift a true surprise.
She “thought” he got up early and went to work. He did get up and leave, even making arrangements for his usual carpool. There were calls made to me, earlier in the week to plan a photo shoot. When she called, I planned it for a few days after the “surprise” photo shoot, so she wouldn’t suspect anything.
When I saw them at the park, she was smiling as big as Texas. They both looked excited and very satisfied. Anniversary’s are special. When you make a commitment to love and stay with someone, that day becomes a celebration of what you two are doing and making with each other. I was happy to share this time with them, watching them hold hands and cuddle while keeping a watchful eye on their beautiful children playing nearby. I, of course, had fun capturing memories for this blessed family.

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus I will bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.” Psalms 60:3-4
